PRIDEFEST FAQs
Your contributions enhance Compass’ funded programs for community center activities and special events held outside of the scope of our funded, direct service programs.
When is PrideFest of the Palm Beaches 2013?
March 30th and 31st from noon until 6 pm.
Are pets allowed in Bryant Park?
Yes, pets are allowed in Bryant Park. We ask all of our friends who will be attending with their pets to make sure dogs are leashed and that they pick up after their pets.
What is the theme this year?
We will be celebrating generations.
Is there a Parade? When and where?
Yes, starts at noon on Sunday in downtown Lake Worth starting at Lucerne & M Street.
I want to participate in the parade, is there a cost?
Yes, there is an application and registration fee. Click here to download.
Is there vendor booth space available?

Do you need volunteers?
Yes!! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please feel free to fill out the form on this link.
Will there be overnight security in the park?
Yes, PBSO officers are on site starting Saturday morning all through Sunday night.
Does the city of Lake Worth have any special requirements in regards to vendors?
Only food vendors are required to have a license. The department of business regulation will be contacting food vendors.
Am I allowed to hand out information by the gate or in the park if I am not a vendor?
No person may distribute any information without becoming a vendor. If you are seen handing out any sort of information you will be asked to leave.
Can I sell or distribute alcohol at my booth?
No, we have designated vendors who will be selling alcohol beverages.
If I am a booth or food vendor, what time can I set up?
You can start setting up at 7 am on Saturday morning.
What is the latest that I can set up?
All vendors must be set up by 11:30 am and all vehicles must be out of the park by then. No vendor vehicle will be allowed in the park after 11 am. No exceptions.
How many passes will I receive for my booth volunteers?
Each vendor will receive 3 passes per day. If you need more passes, they can be purchased when you pick up your vendor package or at the gate.
How do I get to the park?
Take I-95 to 6th Avenue South; go east to Dixie Highway and turn left, now heading north, to Lake Avenue. Turn right, now going east, to Bryant Park, which will be on right hand side immediately before going over the intracoastal bridge.
As a vendor, can I park my vehicle in the park?
By order of the City of Lake Worth, no vehicles are allowed in the park. The police will ticket you or tow your vehicle. This is not a Compass policy.
I would like to perform at PrideFest, what do I do?
